Back story:
In middle school and high school, I got a kick out of surprising some of the teachers. It was SO MUCH FUN and I only did it to the teachers I liked! I'm no ninja because I was gregarious, loud, a little rambunctious...I was one of those people that stood out without the troublemaker factor. I ain't gon' lie, it was a small private school, so that's not saying too much. Regardless, almost everybody knew who I was. Yet I was surreptitious enough to sneak behind the teachers' blind spots and all I had to say was, "Hi", and their hearts almost jumped out of their throats. They had to threaten disciplinary action on me because I was consistent with it and they could never figure me out. ^_^, that's one of the mischievous deeds I was particularly proud of...
Anyway, fast forward to approximately an hour ago. I entered my apartment from lifting weights, running and such. I was walking to the elevators and I glance at the glass door of the leasing office. All of a sudden, I see this white woman in the glass door and she's walking closer and closer. I'm thinking, "WTH?! Am I seeing a ghost?!" I turn to my left and I'm shocked beyond belief, but I'm relieved, that there was a living, breathing white woman next to me! She does not understand how close she was to having my right fist making an imprint on her face, it was that spooky!
Maybe it's because of the earthquake that my nerves are slightly jumpy. Nevertheless, for all the teachers I handily and mischievously startled with no remorse, they got their payback.
Now, off to bed...only to be up again...
